About 100 HBAs Who Care
The goal of 100 HBAs is to connect students to their community in a way that creates a positive and tangible difference. Last year, over 100 HBAs raised $1,200 for three local charities: Connect for Mental Health, Act Now For Cancer, and the Children's Health Foundation. The students and charities came together at Ivey to share their stories, listen to presentations, and vote on where they want their money to go towards.
This year, we're excited to announce that The Alzheimer's Society, Anova Women's Community House, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of London will be joining us in the Brock Pavilion on November 26th to share their stories with students. After hearing what they're all about, students have the option to vote on which charity they'd like their money to go towards. The charity with the most votes will receive 50% of the donations, and the other two charities will split the remain proceeds 25% and 25%. This ensures that students are actively involved with where their money goes towards, and that all charities benefit from an evening of sharing and connecting.
Join us for a fantastic evening on the 26th, with free pizza, and the opportunity to truly make a difference in your community.
